Angela Kinsey was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, United States of America (U.S.A.). On 1973, Angela Kinsey’s family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, where her father worked as a drilling engineer. They lived there for twelve years, and Angela Kinsey attended the Jakarta International School (JIS). During this time Angela Kinsey learned the Indonesian language, which she still knows. Her family then returned to the United States (US) and settled in Archer City, Texas.
Angela Kinsey studied English at Baylor University located in Waco, Texas, United States (US), where Angela Kinsey was a member of the Chi Omega Women’s Fraternity, “took as many theatre classes as possible”, and participated in the “Baylor in London” program. After graduating from Baylor University in 1993, Angela Kinsey got an internship with Late Night with Conan O’Brien, working for Max Weinberg. Angela Kinsey then moved to Los Angeles (LA) and took improvisation classes with The Groundlings and at iO WEST (formerly known as “Improv Olympic West”). On a 2007 interview with the Baylor student newspaper, Angela Kinsey discussed the influence of her years at the university: “It was the perfect place for me to grow into who I am and take the belief system that I had and incorporate it into my life. It was a great place to go to school.”
Angela Kinsey served as an intern on the NBC late night talk show Late Night with Conan O’Brien, which Angela Kinsey described as an “awesome” experience. Angela Kinsey worked for the show’s drummer Max Weinberg. The experience inspired Angela Kinsey to take a coast-to-coast road trip with a friend from New York City (NYC) to California (CA).
Angela Kinsey on June 18, 2000 married Warren Lieberstein, the brother of Paul Lieberstein, who plays Toby Flenderson on The Office. Angela Kinsey on May 3, 2008 gave birth to their first child, Isabel Ruby Lieberstein. Present in the hospital was co-star and best friend namely Jenna Fischer.
