Adding some crowd-pleading entertainment to the 2012 BET Awards on Sunday night (July 1), Nicki Minaj was on hand as one of the night’s many performers.
Taking to the Shrine auditorium stage, the wild and eclectic songstress treated audiences to her single “Champion” while then bringing out 2 Chainz for a rendition of her hit tune “Beez in the Trap.”
Aside from adding an energetic performance to the annual night of entertainment, Miss Minaj also won Best Female HipHop Artist honors while beating out fellow contenders Diamond, Brianna Perry and Trina.
