Bryce Dallas Howard and her younger sisters, twins Jocelyn and Paige (b. 1985), and their younger brother, Reed (b. 1987), were raised away from the world of showbusiness. Their parents didn’t allow them access to television and instead encouraged reading, outside play, and hobbies. This would mark the third time, following Manderlay and Terminator Salvation, that Bryce Dallas Howard replaced another actress in a sequel.
